# Tanya Zafirovic

> Tanya Zafirovic (also known as Tanya Hökensdotter) is a Swedish oil painter of Nordic mystery, nature, and imagination — owls, foxes, elves, dragons and the northern light of Swedish forests and lakes. She paints in oil on canvas, linen and birchwood panels, and her work is collected in Sweden, Norway, France, Germany, Switzerland, South Africa, Slovakia and the USA.

Tanya Zafirovic is also known by her artist name Tanya Hökensdotter (“Höken's daughter”). Her father was the Swedish painter and graffiti pioneer Sven-Arne “Höken” Hökenström (1947–2025, Wikidata Q133260246), with whom she painted and exhibited. Originals, fine art prints, prints on canvas and commissions are available through https://tanyazafirovic.com/contact/ and are shipped internationally.
